WooHoo! A nine part documentary on quiltmaking on PBS this fall. Check out their website

Thanks to my friend Phyllis for the link.

Till next time....Happy Quilting

  1. Thank you for sharing this!! I will share it on my blog as well. (I'm so bad...I can't wait to see it so I went to your link and ordered it...)

    In stitches,
    Teresa :o)

  2. Thank you so much for alerting us to the program! I am so excited!!

  3. I'm so glad that you shared this information. It will be shared on my blog and with my quilt club.

  4. Hooray for Shelly! I've known about this project for a while, and I'm so glad to see the whole thing come to fruition. I ordered the DVD, too. One of my quilts is in episode 9, and I made a small donation to support the project - so it has a special place in my heart.

Thank you, Beth, for promoting it!!

  5. Thanks for the information about the PBS program. It looks really exciting. I just found your blog and I'll be interested in reading more.

  6. Looking forward to this one.

  7. Thanks Beth for the info I went ahead and ordered it
I knew I would want to watch it all at once!

  8. Thanks for the link!
I can hardly believe it!...something good on TV!...this is a rarity
    I look forward to it

  9. Thank you for previewing it, I told everyone about it yesterday at my local quilt shop....

  10. Thanks for the post! I am assisting with the project and just want to give you a little information about our relationship with PBS.

The series is independently produced and funded. It is being made available to PBS stations, through an independent distributor, in addition to the programs already available to them from PBS. Each individual station makes a decision about whether to air it or not. At this point, it is too early to know whether your local station will air the series. I suggest you check your local listing or the station website to see if it will air.

In the meantime, you can check out our website, for more information on the series or to purchase the DVD set.

    Thanks for the interest!
