Quilt Exhibit in Indiana

Frugal & Fancy: Indiana Quilts
will be on display at the Indiana State Museum in downtown Indianapolis from through July 17, 2011.
It looks like a cool exhibit.

Till next time....Happy Quilting.

  1. I saw the exhibit last weekend. I enjoyed it a great deal. There are about 25 quilts. They are paired, one fancy quilt next to one more simple, or frugal, quilt.
If you go, the Eiteljorg Museum next door to the Indiana State Museum has some Native American textiles in their exhibits.

  2. Beth, I love this background quilt for your blog. Is it a quilt you made or an antique or just a photo? Whatever, I LOVE it. Daisy

  3. The background quilt is a baby quilt I made for my next door neighbor. The pattern is Broken Dishes.

  4. Thanks. I know the Broken Dishes pattern. A good way to use scraps which we seem to produce on a regular basis. I love the zig-zaggy look of the setting. Thanks, Beth. Daisy

  5. Sorry Daisy, it's not Broken Dishes, but Cut Glass Dish, don't know what I was thinking.
